All our patients now have an allocated GP, if you are unsure who your GP is please feel free to ask us. Dr Allingham has left St James Surgery, please speak to a receptionist to find out which GP is caring for you.

We offer Online Access to our patients for booking appointments, ordering prescriptions and for viewing parts of your own medical records, using Vision Online Patient Services. To register for this facility you will need to fill out an Online Services Request Form, available from Reception at the Surgery.

Nurse Carol is a Nurse practitioner and can see patients for emergency book on the day appointments.

Nurse Rebecca Iverson (f)

Becci is a Nurse Practitioner and can see patients for urgent book on the day appointments.

Nurse Tara Maxwell (f)

Tara is training in the post of Nurse Practitioner and is able to see patients for urgent book on the day appointments.

Mrs Ruth Town

RGN RGM. Nurse Ruth provides cover for our Nursing team when they are on leave.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
