Temporary Pause in Registrations
Having reviewed the number of registrations that St James’ Surgery has received over the last two years, we have seen a significant increase of just under 1000 patients within that period.
We have taken the decision to consult with the Integrated Commissioning Board (ICB) regarding a pause of new registrations to the practice for a period of 3 months.
Implementing this pause on registrations will allow us to complete recruitment into the surgery to enable our workforce to support the patient numbers that we have in a more robust way. It will also ensure that we are not stretching our current resources more in the meantime.
This means that the practice will not be accepting any new registrations from 1st September 2025 until 31st December 2025.
To find other GP Practices in the local area that are accepting registrations, these can be found on the NHS website.
Should you require any urgent care please contact NHS 111 or attend your local Urgent Treatment Centre or Emergency Department.
