Repeat Prescriptions

Patients using Online Access

We suggest wherever possible please make the request online via the surgery website or by using Online Services. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using this service.

Please give three working days' notice for repeat prescriptions with collection after 2pm on the fourth working day from your selected pharmacy.

Any requests received after 5pm will not be processed until the following day.

Please note we do not accept prescription requests over the telephone.

Weekends and Bank Holidays

Please note any requests for prescriptions that are sent on a weekend or Bank Holiday will not be processed until the surgery reopens.

Did you know you can manage repeat prescriptions in the NHS App?

You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you'll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.

You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. There’s no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, pharmacist, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
