Patient Participation Group
Aims of the Patient Participation Group
The Patient Participation Group was established to provide an independent overview of services and facilities at St James' Surgery.
The group comprises of patients of the surgery who wish to work together with the staff and doctors to help them to meet the needs of their patients, improve services and to share an understanding of issues and opportunities.

Whilst the PPG is not a vehicle for clinical complaints it will:
- Receive reports about and comment on operational matters relating to St James' Surgery and make comments or suggestions there on.
- Be fully briefed about NHS and practice policies and delivery of services
- Establish a two-way communication between the partners, staff and patients.
Membership of the PPG committee is open to all patients of the practice. If you are interested in joining the PPG Committee, please contact the Practice Manager. You will be very welcome!
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
Getting Your View
The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
