Appointments across Kent and Medway
General practices offered more than 925,000 appointments to patients across Kent and Medway in April 2024
Around 62 per cent of these appointments were face-to-face or home visits. This is 150,000 more appointments than in April 2023.
The data, released by NHS England, also shows more than 37,000 people did not attend their appointments. If you are no longer require your appointment, please ensure you cancel your appointment.
You can do this by responding to your appointment reminder (sent to your mobile phone), call the surgery, or use the NHS App.

Unpaid Carers Conference
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is running a free conference from noon to 6pm on Thursday, 13 June at Repton Connect Community Centre in Ashford. It may be of interest to some of your patients and staff.
The conference will bring together expert speakers, specialist organisations, and carers, to highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and help them access support. People can have a free on-the-spot health check on a public health bus between noon to 4pm.
